The Worcester Wine & Olive Route is nestled in the breathtaking Breëde River Valley of the Western Cape. Our award winning route boasts twelve wine cellars and one olive estate. Come and experience an unforgettable trip through our wine farms, restaurants and bistros!
Situated 110km from Cape Town (depending on which wine cellars you include on your route) all the cellars are open to the public for wine tasting and sales.
The bistro’s and restaurants along the route will leave you wanting more! We have some excellent food and wine pairings, charcuterie and cheese platters. This route certainly offers a culinary experience that no foodie will want to miss.
The Worcester Wine and Olive Route offers wine for the connoisseur, the collector, and the person who enjoys every sip. This area having produced wines for generations and being acclaimed for its Cabernet Sauvignon, Chenin Blanc, Columbar, and offers some of the best Muscadels.
Our Wine Cellars and Olive Estate prides itself on both national and international awards of distinction, contributing to about one-fifth of the national vineyards and more than a quarter of the country’s total wine and spirits production.
The Worcester Wine Route area, includes the Nuy Valley, De Doorns area and the R43 area which is known for its value-for-money wines and olive products.
